Pain Therapy

Pain Therapy

I focus on treating acute and chronic pain with acupuncture, using targeted needle techniques combined with assessment-driven treatment plans. My approach identifies and addresses the root contributors to pain—biomechanical imbalances, trigger points, neural sensitization, and lifestyle stressors—rather than only masking symptoms. Sessions blend distal and local needling, manual therapies, and movement-based corrections to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent recurrence. Treatments are individualized and goal-oriented: short-term relief for flare-ups, progressive rehabilitation for persistent pain, and maintenance strategies to reduce future episodes. I track objective measures (range of motion, strength, pain scores) to document progress and adapt care. I also teach practical self-care—stretching, strengthening, posture adjustments, and simple acupressure or breathing techniques—to support recovery between visits. When needed, I coordinate with primary care providers, physical therapists, or specialists to ensure safe, integrated care, especially for complex pain conditions. My focus is on delivering measurable improvements in comfort and mobility so patients can return to daily life and activities with greater confidence.
